Terms of Use
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SpamSlayer: Caller ID & Block mobile application (the "App"), our website at spamslayer.it.com, and related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by Maverix Agency ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
SpamSlayer helps you identify and manage unwanted phone calls on iPhone. The Service uses Apple's Call Directory Extension framework to show caller identification labels for numbers in our database and to block phone numbers you choose to block. To use these features, you must install the App, enable our Call Directory Extension in iOS Settings (Settings > Apps > Phone > Call Blocking & Identification), and allow the App to sync an updated phone-number database to your device.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction, to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
3. Account and Access
Some features require an active Premium subscription. If you purchase on our website, you may receive a one-time link or token to activate Premium in the App. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and account credentials. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.
4. Subscriptions and Billing
4.1 Premium features
A paid subscription ("Premium") unlocks full access to SpamSlayer. Without Premium, core features of the App are not available after onboarding.
Premium includes:
- Caller identification labels for numbers in our synced phone-number database on the native iOS incoming call screen.
- Call blocking for numbers you add to your block list through the App.
- Access to the Protection tab, including manual number blocking and protection settings.
- Access to the Contacts tab and related in-app contact features (when Contacts permission is granted).
- Sync and updates to the on-device caller-identification database.
- Ability to enable and use the Call Directory Extension for identification and blocking.
Weekly and Annual subscriptions both grant the same Premium entitlement. Premium may be purchased through the Apple App Store inside the App or through our website using Stripe.
4.2 App Store subscriptions
Current App Store subscription products include:
- Weekly:

com.maverix.SpamSlayer.annual— $99.99 per year after any applicable free trial.
New subscribers may receive a 3-day free trial, where offered. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription automatically converts to a paid subscription and your Apple ID payment method will be charged at the then-current price.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the renewal price. You can manage or cancel App Store subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings.
Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription, where applicable.
4.3 Website subscriptions
If you subscribe on our website, payment is processed by Stripe according to the pricing and trial terms shown at checkout. Web subscriptions may be linked to the App through your account. Refund and cancellation terms presented at checkout also apply.
4.4 Price changes
We may change subscription prices or offerings in accordance with applicable platform rules and notice requirements. Changes apply to future billing periods as permitted by Apple, Stripe, and applicable law.
5. Apple Terms
If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, you also agree to Apple's applicable terms, including the Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Apple is not responsible for the Service or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App except as required by law.
6. License
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms and applicable platform rules. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the Service.
7. Caller Identification and Blocking Limitations
You acknowledge that:
- Caller labels depend on the accuracy and completeness of our phone-number database.
- Not every number will be identified or blocked.
- Labels and blocking may be outdated, incomplete, or unavailable for some callers.
- Features may not work unless the Call Directory Extension is enabled in iOS Settings.
- The Service is provided for informational and convenience purposes only and is not a guarantee of caller identity.
- You should not rely on the Service as the sole basis for security, legal, financial, or safety decisions.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service unlawfully or to harass, defraud, or harm others.
- Attempt to access systems, data, or accounts without authorization.
- Interfere with the operation or security of the Service.
- Misrepresent caller identity or use the Service to facilitate illegal robocalling or spoofing.
- Copy, scrape, or redistribute our database except as permitted by law.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use information. By using the Service, you also agree to the Privacy Policy.
10. Intellectual Property
The Service, including software, design, branding, and content, is owned by Maverix Agency or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any ownership rights.
11. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party providers, including Apple, Stripe, RevenueCat, Firebase, and AppsFlyer. Your use of those services may be subject to their separate terms and policies.
12. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, ACCURATE, OR THAT ALL CALLERS WILL BE IDENTIFIED OR BLOCKED CORRECTLY.
13. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MAVERIX AGENCY AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR (B) USD $50.
14. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Maverix Agency from claims, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.
15. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for us, or where required by law. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
16. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may modify the Service or these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms at https://spamslayer.it.com/terms/ and update the effective date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction of Maverix Agency, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.
